Cora Lush

Cora Elizabeth Lush, age 84 of Clarkson, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Nortons Hospital on Brownsboro Road in Louisville. She was born December 22, 1930 in Grayson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Willie & Mary Lush Heaverin. She is survived by one daughter, Janet Miller of Panama City Beach, FL, six sisters, Louise Grant of Louisville, Lynn Gambrell & Anna Mae Clemons of both of Grayson County, KY, Jean Simon of Louisville, Nellie Stevenson of Leitchfield, & Rosie Higdon of Louisville, one brother, Edward Heaverin of Tampa, FL, two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Lush. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday (Jan. 17, 2015) at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Peonia. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. A prayer service will be held Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
