Cora Spears

Cora Ozell Spears 84 of Glasgow, died Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Glenview Health Care Center. Born in Cumberland County she was the daughter of the late Waymon D. and Clara Daniel Coop and the husband of the late Charlie Elmer Spears. Mrs. Spears was retired assembly line employee with Sorenson Mfg. in Glasgow, member of the Edmonton Chapter 470 of the Eastern Star and member of the Chestnut Grove Methodist Church in Cumberland County. Survivors include 3 sons Keith Spears wife Susan of Glasgow, Jerry Spears wife Judy of Summer Shade and Charles Tony Spears wife Linda of Walkersville, Maryland; 2 brothers Russell Coop of Redwood, CA, Joe Coop of Glasgow; 1 sister Edna McGee of Culleoka, TN; 5 grandchildren Jason Spears, Jennifer Downs husband Brian, Melissa Spears, Tracy Beckwith husband Richard and Charles Spears wife Tabatha; 4 great grandchildren Ashley Downs, Micah Downs, Halli Spears and Christa Spears. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her step mother Dovie Watson Coop. Funeral services for Mrs. Spears will be held 2:30 PM Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 4:30 PM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the funeral home. Eastern Star services will be held 7PM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the funeral Home.
