Curtis Abston

Curtis Bryant Abston 71 of Glasgow, died Monday, June 7, 2004 at his residence. Born in Glasgow he was the son of the late Sam and Irene Spencer Abston and a self employed carpenter. Survivors include his wife Clarene Wilson Abston, 3 daughters Betty Ballard, Hattie Abston and Lynn Abston all of Glasgow, 1 son Curtis Abston, Jr. of Glasgow, 6 grandchildren Bryan Wood, Jason Abston, Brandi Chesire, Lacie Ballard, Brandin Ballard and Savannah Abston, 2 great grandchildren Camilla and James Curtis Chesire, 1 sister Shirley Wilson of Glasgow, a special friend to the family Linda Pitman of Glasgow. In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by a brother Edward Abston. Funeral services will be held 3PM Thursday, June10, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4PM Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at the funeral home.
