Daniel Ray Shields

Daniel Ray Shields, 68, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was born December 3, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Hoyt Ray Shields and Frances Williams Shields. Daniel served in the Army Reserve and retired from R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include, his loving wife, Karen Shields; two daughters, Tamara Michelle Shields of Alvaton, Kentucky, Melissa Ann Shields of Glasgow, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Jayson Isaac Wren, Addyson Grace Wren; one brother, Brian Shields (Kim) of Glasgow, Kentucky; two sisters-in-law, Faye Humphrey, Alice Williams (Bobby); and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society 952 Fairview Avenue Suits #4 Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101. The funeral service for Mr. Shields will be held 1:00 PM Monday, August 2nd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Neals Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F.
