Dartha Dennis

Dartha Harlow Dennis 87 of Glasgow died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at her home. She was born and raised in Barren County, the daughter of the late Gillum and Lennie Barbour Harlow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dennis, and together they operated Harlow Hatchery in Glasgow. Dartha was active for many years in girl scholarship and beauty pageants, active in the Republican Women's Club and had helped to establish the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center. Survivors include her nieces and nephews and their families. Graveside services will be held 2:30pm Thursday at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 until 2:00. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the South Central KY Cultural Center, 200 W. Water St., Glasgow, KY 42141.
