David Ray Brown 75 of Glasgow died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at his home. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late Robert and Wilma Kinslow Brown. Mr. Brown formerly operated Brown's Taxidermy in Glasgow and was a member of the H. B. Grant Lodge F&AM at Etoile. He was also Past President of Barren River Rod & Gun Club and an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by a son J. David Brown and wife Roxanna of Louisville; a daughter Kathy Davis and husband Bill of Murfreesboro, TN; 3 grandsons Robert David Brown, Hunter Ray Brown and Matthew Clay; a sister Kaye England of Indianapolis, IN and his beloved companion, his dog Dixie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Rex Brown. Graveside services will be held 10am Monday, January 5th at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Sunday from 2pm until 5pm. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Barren River Animal Welfare Assn., P.O. Box 71, Glasgow, KY 42142-0107.
