David Denton

David Lee Denton, 83, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born July 7, 1939, in Park City, Kentucky to the late Comer Denton and Allean Reynolds Denton. David obtained his bachelor's degree in accounting at Bowling Green Business University and worked most of his life as a CPA. David was a very active member of the Bowling Green Jaycee's for many years. He was a proud United States Air Force veteran and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Judy Steenbergen Denton; one son, Brock Denton (Elizabeth); one daughter, Melanie Poston (James R.); two stepsons, Chris (Kelly) and Grant Lawrence; eight grandchildren, Jaxon, Allie, and Peyton Denton, Austin, Mia, and Beau Poston, Emmalee Lewis, Ella Kate Lawrence; and one sister, Juanita Pardue. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Witherspoon. Expressions of sympathy donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church. The funeral service for Mr. Denton will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 22nd at the First United Methodist Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
