David Powell Jessie 57 of Glasgow, KY died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at the Glasgow Health & Rehab Center in Glasgow. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late James and Beatrice Bush Jessie. Mr. Jessie was a self employed logger. Survivors include 2 daughters Michelle Shirley and husband Earl of Glasgow, Charity Wheeler and husband John of Arcola, Ill., 1 son Cody Jessie of Knob Lick, KY., 1 step-daughter Joy McWhorter of Bowling Green, KY., 1 step-son Chris Brown of Edmonton, KY., 3 grandchildren April and Melissa Shirley of Glasgow, Alex Wheeler of Illinois, 5 step-grandchildren Katlyn, Logan and Kera McWhorter, Caleb and Elijah Hill, 3 sisters Rita Thomas and husband Steve of Austin, KY, Norma Wright of Glasgow, Ann Slayton and husband Gilbert of Temple Hill, KY, 4 brothers James Cecil Jessie and wife Omie of Scottsville, KY, Daryl Jessie and wife Beverly of Edmonton, KY, Leo Jessie and wife Reba of Glasgow, KY, Ricky Jessie and wife Stacy of Knob Lick, KY. Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 sister Judy Clark. Funeral services will be held 2PM Friday, May 12, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:30 PM Thursday, May 11, 2006 at the funeral home.
