Dean Beard

Dean Russell Beard 63 of Glasgow died Saturday September 4, 2010 at his home. Born in Adair County the son of the late Davis Russell Beard and Emma Bardin Childress. Mr. Beard was a retired employee of Eaton Axle Corp. in Glasgow and was a US Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam Campaign. He was the present Commander of the D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to his mother survivors include his wife Barbara Conover Beard of Glasgow; 1 son Eric Beard ; 1 son daughter Jill Beard ; 1 grandson Cory Davis Beard all of Glasgow; 1 brother Larry Beard and wife Francis of Elizabethtown. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday September 7, 2010 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by the D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow . Visitation will be after 5:00pm Monday at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral.
