Deanna Joy Greer passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Born on July 23, 1956, in Glasgow to the late Dean Riley and Dorothy McKinney, she will be dearly missed by her surviving mother. Joy was employed by the Housing Authority of Glasgow for several years. She also worked at South Central Bank as well as other places. Joy loved to go “junking”, yard sales, eating at Texas Roadhouse and hanging out with her best friend, Cindy Rutledge and her mother, Dorothy. Joy loved her cat babies and they loved her.
In addition to her mother, she leaves behind her best friend, Cindy Rutledge.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step father, Joseph McKinney.
The family has chosen cremation, and a memorial service is set to take place at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery on Wednesday, October 30th, at 11:00 AM, under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Following Joy’s love for animals, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Barren County Animal Shelter in her memory.
