Debbie Mahurin

Debbie Mahurin, 54, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, January 10th, 2016 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. She was born on Monday, January 1, 1962 in Grayson County, the daughter of the late J.C. and Kathleen (Hayes) Embry. Debbie was a member of the Wilson Home General Baptist church. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and loving on her grandchildren. Debbie is survived by her husband Steve Mahurin of Caneyville; two daughters, Samantha Embry (Joseph) and Jessica Mahurin (Mitchell) both of Caneyville; two brothers, Harold Dean Embry of Butler County and Tommy Embry of Bowling Green; two sisters, Brenda White of Caneyville and Mary Ann Jackson of Fordsville; two special grandsons, Marshall Embry and Jensen Mahurin; and her best friend, Teresa Carter. Debbie is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many loved ones. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 13th at 11:00 am at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Joe Williams and Bro Christopher Edwards will be officiating. Burial will be in the Simpson Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Tuesday after 3:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
