Dee Burris

Dee Burris 82 of Glasgow died Tuesday, May 05, 2015 at her home. Born in Adair County, she was the daughter of the late Curt and Laura Janes Shirley. Mrs. Burris was a CNA at Glenview Health Care and was a member of East Fork Missionary Baptist Church in Edmonton. She is survived by 1 daughter Glenda Pace (Faron) of Glasgow; 3 sons Mitchell Burris (Becky), Danny Burris (Sandy) and David Burris (Rose) all of Glasgow; 2 sisters Christine Bennett and Brenda Smith (Clifton) of Glasgow; 5 brothers Junior Shirley (Shirley Jean) of Edmonton, Fred Shirley (Jeaniene), Phillip Shirley (Margaret), Earl Dunham Shirley (Imogene) and Charles Shirley all of Glasgow; a son-in-law Roger Bragg of Glasgow; grandchildren Jonathan, Christopher and Daniel Burris, Heather Dennison (Joey), Wesley Pace (Shelby), Jason Pace, Mathew Bragg (Sierra) and Brittany Carter (Corey); a step-grandson Marty Stout (Holly); 8 great grandchildren and 3 sisters-in-law Nancy Shirley, Lavern Hines and Lavern Shirley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herman Burris, a daughter Brenda Bragg, a sister Pauline Shirley and 4 brothers Roy, Bobby, James and David Shirley. Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday, May 9th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bragg Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4pm Friday.
