Delsie Duel Cary

Delsie Duel Cary 96 of Glasgow died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Barren Co. Health Care Facility. Born in Cumberland County, KY she is the daughter of the late Fayette & Emily Murphy Pitcock and wife of the late Clyde Cary. Mrs. Cary was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ and also attended the Beckton Church of Christ. Survivors include 3 daughters Brenda Gillentine (Robert) of Glasgow, Nelda Lavene Lyons of Louisville and Wanda Meriwether (Leon) of Corydon, IN; 2 sons Hollis Ray Cary (Charlene) of Glasgow and Kenneth Wayne Cary of Edmonton; 24 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchildren; brother-in-law Clifton Cary (Elizabeth) and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Morris Cary and 12 brothers & sisters. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, June 10, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
