Delzie Moran

Delzie Dee Moran 99 of Glasgow died Monday, October 20, 2008 at the NHC Healthcare Center. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Johnson and Rachel Frances Linkous Johnson and the wife of the late Fount Isaac Moran. Mrs. Moran was a homemaker and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN. Survivors include 1 son Rev. Billy Moran (Jane) of Bowling Green, KY, 2 daughters Donna Gann (Elbert T.) of Columbia, KY and Marie Horn of Attica, IN; 7 grandchildren Jeff Moran, Gina Riley, Betty Benge, Judy Nolen, Debbie Heinrichs, Kristie Stearman and Terrie Castetter, 14 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 4 sisters Effie Britt, Magnolia Meadows, Lydia Johnson and Elzie Kinslow. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5pm until 9pm and on Thursday from 10am until time for services.
