Dempsey York

Dempsey Huddleston York 95 of Glasgow died Monday, October 3, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. She was born in Burkesville, KY the daughter of the late Porter and Mary Eunice Anderson Huddleston. Mrs. York was a homemaker and a member of White Hill Baptist Church in Burkesville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Preston York, a granddaughter Lee Ann York, a great-granddaughter Sophia Graham, a brother Ray Huddleston and a sister Roxie Huddleston Capps. Survivors include 2 daughters Judy Cross (Harrel) of Glasgow and Nan Nasby of Jeffersonville, IN; 2 sons James R. York (Donna) of London, KY and Billy P. York (Melanie) of Paintsville, KY; 11grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12:00 Thursday, October 6th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 until time for the service.
