Dennis Harper

Denny H. Harper, 66, of the Morrison Park Community of Barren County, went to be with his heavenly Father after passing peacefully Wednesday at his home. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid outdoorsman and retired carpenter. Denny enjoyed his exotic animals and his farm. He is survived by his wife Beth and their son Cody (Bridget) Harper and granddaughter Gracy Brooke who was magical to him and his grand pug Hero. He is also survived by a son Andy (Julie) Harper of Illinois, 5 grandchildren Calie, Melissa, Elizabeth, Richard and Jayden; 7 great-grandchildren; his mother, Marie Harper of Glasgow; 4 sisters, one of whom is his best friend, Loretta (Gary) Jessie, and Tammy Parsons, Lisa Null and Vickie Harper all of Glasgow; 2 brothers Richard (Shelly) Harper of Illinois and Kenneth (Diane) Harper of Glasgow; 6 sisters-in-law Nina Corder, Rose Mary (Wayne) McCoy, Marlene Glass, Sandy Harper, Lera Mae Kingrey and Diane Burks. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Harper and four brothers, Randel, Harold, Terry and Michael. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, December 23rd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with a private burial service on his farm. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 am until time for the service.
