Dewey Smith

Dewey Bransford Smith 75 of Smiths Grove died Sunday at the Glenview Health Care Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Hazie and Annie Pearl England Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired construction worker. He is survived by his wife Reba; 6 daughters Darlene Vincent of Glasgow, Linda Hogan of Cave City, Carolyn (Lewis) Wright of Glasgow, Patty (Ricky) Martin of Missouri, Kathy (David) Smith of Park City and Amanda (Lee) Monroe of Cave City; 5 sons Russell (Sue) Smith of Cave City, Tony (Sandy) Smith of Glasgow, Thomas (Karen) Smith of Park City, Michael (Lu Ann) Smith of Park City and Joe David (Alison) Smith of Smiths Grove; 3 sisters Jesse Tyree and Sara Dyer of Tompkinsville and Dorothy Sherfey of Glasgow; 24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Donald Eugene Smith and 3 brothers John England, James Smith and Floyd Smith. Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday January 11, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Tuesday.
