Diana Wood

Diana Faye Wood, 67 of Bon Ayr, died Friday September 30, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Ewing Palmore Shaw and Nina Basil Shaw. Diana was an employee of Dollar General Store and KY Pants factory for over 11 years and later manager of Salvation Army Store in Glasgow. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband Jimmie Wood of Bon Ayr; 1 son Chris Furlong (Karen) of Bon Ayr; 2 step sons Tommy Wood (Debbie) of Horse Cave and Bruce Wood (Kathy) of Glasgow; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; 7 sisters Linda Holman, Sandy Duncan, Connie Poindexter, Monica Wilson, Rita Frazier, Patricia Landers and Tonya Valdivia; 5 brothers Joe, Russell, Dennis, Charles and Ted Shaw; a special friend Bonita Burks. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Peggy Brown and a brother Allen Shaw. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday October 3, 2016 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery at Park City. Visitation will be from 4:00pm till 8:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
