Donald Catron

Donald R. Catron 69 of Glasgow, KY died Friday, January 29, 2010 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born in Monticello, KY a son of the late Cress and Lessie Denney Catron. Donald and his wife Loretta owned and operated Key Cleaners and Vanity Salon in Glasgow and he was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Survivors include his wife Loretta Tarter Catron; 5 children Ronnie Catron of Glasgow, Sherry Schmidt (Tom) of Hopkinsville, Chris Catron of Honolulu, Hawaii, Matthew Catron of Glasgow and Patricia Catron of Glasgow; 4 grandchildren Jordan, Thomas and Jaccob Schmidt and Mallarie Catron; a great-grandson Owen Schmidt; 2 brothers Kenneth Catron (Betty) and Earl Catron (Loretta) all of Monticello; a sister Hazel Hicks of Monticello and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Thursday morning until time for the service.
