Donald Dickson

Donald Wayne Dickson 65 of Glasgow died Thursday August 17, 2006 at Wellington Parc of Bowling Green, KY. He was born in Barren County the son of the late William Thomas Dickson and Mary Frances McCoy Dickson. He was a retired with 34 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service and was an avid woodworker and gospel singer. Mr. Dickson was a member of the Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder, Treasurer and Adult Sunday School Teacher. He is survived by his wife Patty Jones Dickson; 1 daughter Cheryl Page and husband Rickey of Nashville, TN; 2 sons Joe Donald Dickson and wife Sheila of Columbia, KY and Michael Steenbergen and wife Alison of Brownsville, KY; 1 brother Rollin Dickson and wife Linda of Glasgow; an Aunt Nina McIntyre of Glasgow and 8 grandchidren. He was preceded in death by a son Joe David Dickson and a grandson Tristan Page. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday August 20, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00am on Saturday.
