Donald Owens

Donald Lee Owens 76 of Glasgow died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Glasgow Health & Rehab Center. Born in Indianapolis, IN he was the son of the late William Hershell & Mary Vivian Fant Owens and husband of the late Hallie Mae Owens. Mr. Owens was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church and a retired Maintanence Supervisor at NHC Healtcare Facility. Survivors include four daughters Tera Stice (Larry) of Park City, KY, Kay Owens Roemer (Jaime) of Glasgow, Sheila Harper of Glasgow and Connie Owens of Glasgow; four sons Bucky Owens of Glasgow, Donnie Owens (Laura) of Frankfort, KY, Billy Owens (Debbie) of Athens, AL and Dennis Owens (Vicky) of Glasgow; two step-sons David Buckley (Starla) of Glasgow and Gary Buckley (Beverly) of Shepardsville, KY; two niecs Frankie Jo Bradley and Billie Shelton both of Glasgow; 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by a sister Barbara Shelton. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, April 2, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
