Donita Firkins

Donita Francis Firkins 54 of Glasgow died Tuesday, Sept. 4th at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville as the result of injuries received in a house fire at her home. She was born in Glasgow the daughter of the late Bryant Francis, Jr. and Robbie Claywell Francis. Donita was a homemaker and a former employee at K-Mart in Glasgow. She is survived by her husband Tommy; 1 son Michael Goodman of Chicago; a brother Clayton Francis (Sue) of Austin; several aunts, uncles and cousins and a very special friend Bobbie Ramey of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 10am until time for the service. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the family or funeral home to aid with expenses.
