Donna Marie Ballard, 69, of Glasgow died Friday October 11, 2019 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Mrs. Ballard was born in Glasgow on July 14, 1950, the daughter of the late Jessie J. Dodson and Edna Wilson Dodson. She was a homemaker, loved to play bingo and was a member of the Glasgow Faith Church. Survivors include her husband, Harold Junior Ballard of Glasgow; five daughters, Donita M. Foley (Kevin) of Glasgow, Marie Freeman (Duck) of Tompkinsville, Brenda Ballard Puerto of Cave City, Jenny Neal (Tommy) of Glasgow and Mary Ann Smith (Joe) of Glasgow; four sons, Scottie Leo Jessie of Russell Springs, David Ballard of Cave City, Daniel Ballard of Horse Cave and Harold Ballard II of Louisville; 22 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Page of Horse Cave and Brenda Gott of Smiths Grove. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and James Dodson; two sisters, Bertha England and Juanita Smith. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Wednesday, October 16th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the White Family Cemetery in Metcalfe County. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on Wednesday morning until time for services at the funeral home.
