Donnie Bacon

Donnie Sue Bacon 79 of Eighty Eight, KY died Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born at Eighty Eight, the daughter of the late Paul and Eva Hunt Richardson. Donnie Sue was the postmaster at Eighty Eight for 34 years and enjoyed farming with her husband Joe Donald. She was a member of the Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Eighty Eight. Survivors include her husband of 61 years Joe Donald Bacon; 1brother Danny Joe Richardson and wife Tina of Munfordville; an Uncle Robert Richardson of Glasgow; 2 sisters-in-law Betty (Evans) Bowman of Temple Hill and Shirley (Dexter, Jr.) Bacon of Glasgow; several nieces, nephews and cousins and her beloved dog Snoopy. Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday, May 16th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Refuge Cemetery at Eighty Eight. Visitation will begin at 2pm Friday. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
