Doris Ann Oliver, 92, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born March 18, 1930 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Harlan Graven and Alaska Upton Graven. Doris was a head RN at the Glasgow State Nursing Facility and was a member of the Freedom #1 Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her sister, Carol Cary of Bowling Green; six nieces and nephews, Jeff Downing (Melinda) of Fountain Run, Julie Collins (Kenny) of Lafayette, Tennessee, Robert Graven (Amy) of Hamby, Texas, Richard Graven of Seattle, Washington, Judy Graven of Austin, Texas, Kim Stout (Kevin) of Bowling Green; one step grandson, Anthony Cherry; two step great grandchildren, Katie and Tanner Cherry; one daughter-in-law, Mary Anne Oliver; one sister-in-law, Helen Graven of Austin, Texas; and a caregiver and friend, Connie Groce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Oliver, Sr.; son, James "Jimmy" E. Oliver, Jr.; one brother, Buddy Graven; and one sister, Jean Downing. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Poplar Log Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. The funeral service for Mrs. Oliver will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 27th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F.
