Doris Copeland

Doris Helen Copeland 71 of Glasgow died Monday, December 15, 2003 at the Barren County Health Care Center. Born in Cumberland County she was the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Wells and the wife of the late Joe Copeland. Survivors include 1 son Larry Copeland and wife Dana of Glasgow, 2 sisters Marie Gibson of Edmonton, KY and Geneva Wheeler of Illinois, 1 grandchild Derek Blythe of Glasgow, 4 step-grandchildren Daniel Syra, Amanda Syra and Eric Lambert all of Edmonton, KY and Tina Williams of Glasgow. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceeded in death by 1 daughter Sandra Blythe, 3 brothers James, Dimpsey and Roger Wells, 4 sisters Irene Smith, Evelyn Wells, Dorothy Wells and Nova Lee Wells. Funeral services will be held 1PM Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Smith Family Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:30 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at the funeral home.
