Doris Houchens

Doris Ann Houchens 63 of Glasgow died Saturday October 30, 2010 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born in Barren County the daughter of the late Stanley Woodrow Houchens and Ersie Thomas Houchens. She was a homemaker and employed by Bully's Restaurant for several years. Doris was a loving mother, wife, daughter & member of Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother Ersie Thomas Houchens of Glasgow; her husband, Stanley Harold Houchens of Glasgow; 1 daughter Jennifer Nicole Flickner (Willard 'Bummer') of Glasgow; 2 sons Stanley Houchens Jr. & companion Jim Boyd of Glendale, AZ. & Jerry 'Doug' Houchens of IN.; 2 sisters Linda Wilson (Bobby) of Glasgow & Wanda Tally ( Sam) of Bowling Green; 6 grandchildren Christopher Tharpe, Autumn Tharpe, Brandon Higdon, Brooklyn Flickner, Courtney Flickner & Dillon Houchens; Several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts & Uncles also survive. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by a grandchild Sara Beth Houchens. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday November 3, 2010 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Monday November 1, 2010 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
