Doris Mcdaniel

Doris Jean McDaniel, age 74 of Louisville, formerly of Leitchfield, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at her residence. She was born December 28, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Gaffney) Edwards. She is survived by two sons, Andrew Ward of San Francisco, CA, Shawn Ward (Carla) of Corydon, IN, three daughters, Amy Brooks (Chris) of Louisville, Beverly Dabney (Jackie Brown) of Martinez, GA, and Irene Adams (Thomas) of Woodburn, KY, three sisters, Aline Bartrum and Carolyn Mercer (Jerry) both of Leitchfield, and Frances Woosley of Caneyville, a very special niece and nephew, Danielle Simon and Thomas Bartrum, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Robin Ward, three brothers, and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. CST, Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Lile Cemetery in Leitchfield.
