Dorothy Birge

Dorothy Myrtle Birge 82 of Glasgow died Saturday July 28, 2007 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born in Muhlenberg County the daughter of the late Luther and Ora Hope Crumpton. Her husband was the late Gilbert Birge. She retired from Handmachers and was a member of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her daughter in law Julie Pedigo (Wayne) of Glasgow; 2 sisters Earlene Marshall of PA, Reva Lester (Frank) of Willowshade; 2 brothers Richard Crumpton (Ruth) of OH and Jerry Crumpton (Pam) of AR; 2 granddaughters Brandi and Briana Birge of Glasgow; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by her son Tony G. Birge; 2 brothers Robert Lee and Rondal Crumpton. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday July 31, 2007 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the White Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 11:00am Monday at the Funeral Home.
