Dorothy Delph

Dorothy Delph 95 of Glasgow died Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Diversicare of Glasgow. Born in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of the late Ralph E. & Gertrude Graves Guthrie and wife of the late James R. Delph. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & friend. She was our sunshine everyday. Mrs. Delph was a former secretary at Liberty Street School for over 10 years, was with the T.J. Samson Lady Auxiliary for 25 years and she loved to golf. Survivors include her son James R. Delph (Susan) of Glasgow; grandson Daniel Delph of Glasgow; 2 sisters-in-law Hellen Guthrie of Acton, IN and Jackie Breker of North Vernon, IN; 4 nieces Marcia Key Merkle, Donna Kay Sigemond, Shirley Kendrick & Linda Smith all of Indianapolis, IN; 3 nephews Gene Guthrie of Acton, IN, Leroy Delph of Muncie, IN & Larry Delph of Indianapolis, IN. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a sister Mary Jane Merkle; brother Ralph G. Guthrie; 2 sisters-in-law Ruthie Delph & Martha Jane Sigemond. The Delph family chose cremation. Arrangements are under the direction of the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
