Dorothy "Dot" Witty

Dorothy Ellen 'Dot' Witty 85 of Glasgow died Monday, March 16, 2015 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born at Merry Oaks, KY the daughter of the late Audrey E. and Allie Myers Allen. Dot was a homemaker, a former nurse at Howard Clinic in Glasgow and also an employee of RCA while living in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Merry Oaks United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 56 years James E. Witty; daughter Debbie Witty Isenhower (Mike) of Bowling Green; son Tony E. Witty (Cathey) of Bowling Green; 6 grandchildren Chasity Witty Goshorn (Wyatt), Summer Witty Raby (Darren), Mick Isenhower, Courtney Isenhower Durham (Jamie), Laura Isenhower Young (Kirk) and Libby Isenhower (Raul Rodriguez); 12 great grandchildren Walker and Gunnar Goshorn, Cannon and Catie Rose Raby, Trey Keller, Hallie Plummer, Sonny and Jed Durham, Taylor, Todd and Chase Durham and Levi Rodriguez; a sister Jean Allen Pursley of Glasgow; a brother W. A. 'Bill' Allen of Glasgow; brother-in-law Bobby (Ruby) Witty; sister-in-law Francine (Gene) Strode and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers James 'Walter' Allen and Rodney Brown Allen and 2 sisters Hilda Mae Allen Furlong and Viola Allen. Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, March 20th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Merry Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm until 8pm and Friday morning until time for the service. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to the Merry Oaks Cemetery Fund.
