Dorothy Evans

Dorothy 'Kitty' Evans, age 73 of Clarkson, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born September 6, 1942 in Louisville, KY the daughter of John A. & Mary M. Sparks Leuenberger. She is survived by her husband Jim Evans of Clarkson, two daughters, Kelly Marie Mullins & Tina Louise Layne both of Louisville, two sons, James E. Evans II & Steven Douglas Evans both of Louisville, one sister, Mary Katherine Reinacher, six brothers, John T., Fred A., James H., William N., Gary N. & Kenneth D. Leuenberger, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles R., Rudy Bernard, & George E. Leuenberger. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Clarkson Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4:00 p.m., Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
