Dorothy Geraldine Combs, 96, of Glasgow, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, at the Barren County Health and Rehabilitation Facility in Glasgow. She was born February 12, 1925, to the late Luther Wood and Ora Hume Wood. Dorothy was a homemaker and member of Becker Drive Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville. Survivors include two daughters, Janice Compton (Cecil) of Bowling Green, and Carolyn Miller of Glasgow; six grandchildren, Sandra Myatt (Garry) of Glasgow, Regina Clark of Glasgow, Pamela Martin(Terrance) of Louisiana, Jimmy Lemons (Heather) of Louisiana, Mark Compton (Vicki) of Glasgow, and Tim Miller of Glasgow; ten great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Combs; four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, Eula Bush, and Jewell Austin; Six brothers, Willard, Archie, Floyd, Carlos, Charles, and Albert Wood. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, February 15th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00pm until time for service at the funeral home. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Combs.
