Dorothy Lee

Dorothy June Bell Lee 86 of Bowling Green and formerly of Glasgow died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was born in Maryville, TN the daughter of the late Cary Francis Bell and Grace Stallings Bell. She was married to the late Joseph Burl Lee, Sr. Mrs. Lee was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She was a very active member of Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a choir member. She had been a volunteer for the Barren County Cultural Center and was a former dietician at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. Dorothy also loved being with her grandchildren and enjoyed bowling. Survivors include 2 sons Joseph Burl Lee, Jr. (Judy) of Bowling Green and Jeff L. Lee (Melissa) of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Josh Lee of Bowling Green and Tyler and Brandon Lee of Glasgow; a sister Virginia Palmer of Maryville, TN; a brother Herman Bell of Ft. Worth, TX and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Harold, Clyde and Kenneth Bell and 3 sisters Helen Lebow, Marion Stephenson Smith and Aileen Bell. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 3rd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4pm until 8pm and Saturday from 10am until services.
