Dorothy Mae Hankins

Dorothy Mae Hankins, 81, of Cave City, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at her residence. She was born October 8, 1940 in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Ulner Hershel Young and Mildred Ines Youngblood Young. Dorothy was an assistant manager at Peebles and a member of Rolling Hills United Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Patty Gosser (Phillip Harp), Teresa Trivett (Ronnie); two sons, Earl Duane Hale (Rita Flatt), Michael David Hale; one step son, Phil Hankins (Shelley); eight grandchildren, Eric Gosser (Kathy), Ashley Nichole Gosser, Brian Trivett (Cassie), Josh Trivett (Victoria), Samantha Lynn Hale, Kendra Nichole Hale, Michael Adam Hale, Lanna Jo Hale; five step grandchildren, Anna Grace Hankins, Pierce Hankins (Shaelyn), Spencer Hankins (Kourtney), Stephanie Flatt, Whitney Demonbreun (Jordan); two great grandchildren, Harley Ann Trivett, Anna Kay Trivett; four step great grandchildren, Carter Oden, Finley Demonbreun, Porter Hankins, Cannon Hankins; two brothers, Alvin Young (Tressie), T.J. Young (Sharon); two sisters, Virginia Rapier (Jimmy), Delores Tufty (Gary); one brother-in-law, Jerry Hankins (Glenda); and one sister-in-law, Imogene Klaber. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Eugene Hankins and siblings, Billy Murl Young, Boyd Denver Young, Etta LyJoice Butler, Velma Jayrices Newman. The funeral service for Mrs. Hankins will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 11th at Rolling Hills United Baptist Church with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and on Tuesday morning from 11:00 AM until time for the service at the church. A. F.
