Dorothy Smith

Dorothy L. Smith 82 of Glasgow, Kentucky died Tuesday April 5, 2005 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Mrs. Smith was born in Barren County the daughter of the late John Richard and Lucy Peden Chapman. She was a former employee of the Mallory Capacitor Company and was a member of the Little Bethel Baptist Church. She is survived by 1 daughter Rita Goad and husband Kenneth of Glasgow; 2 sons Richard Smith of Glasgow and Tommy Smith and wife Linda of Glasgow; 1 sister Elizabeth Norman and husband Keith of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Annetta Jo Smith, Charles Goad, Ben Smith, Timmy Goad and Tonya Birdwell; 5 great grandchidren and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Earl Smith and a grandson Harold Dewayne Tinsley. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday April 8, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
