Dorothy Walden

Marie Walden 78 of Cave City, KY died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at her residence. Born in Edmonson County she was the daughter of the late Grover C. and Ethel Young White and the wife of the late Charlie Walden. Mrs. Walden was a homemaker and dairy farmer and member of the Basil Chapel United Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 son Larry Wayne Walden (Nancy), 1 daughter Lois Faye Kidd (Steve) both of Glasgow, 2 grandchildren Nathan Kidd (Cynthia) of Glasgow, Crystal Walden of Cave City, 2 great grandchildren Courtney and Casey Kidd, 3 brothers Dee White of Cave City, Clifford White of Louisville and Grover White of Russellville, 2 sisters Geneva Miles and Arizona 'Lone' Morris both of Louisville. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 2 brothers Otis and Ottis White and 1 sister Elsie Hazele. Funeral services for Mrs. Walden will be held 10 AM Friday, November 7, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 1PM Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the funeral home.
