Douglas Myers

Douglas Lee Myers 70 of Glasgow died Thursday, August 3, 2006 at his residence. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Vergel Clayton Myers & Delma Turner Myers Skaggs of Park City who survives. Mr. Myers was a Carpenter and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Violet Brumett Myers of Glasgow; 2 sons Timmy Myers (Sherri) of Glasgow and Ricky Myers (Cheryl) of Cave City, KY; a daughter Vicky Bilbrey (Bobby Jr.) of Glasgow; a brother Don Myers of Tennessee; 2 half sisters Brenda Word (Larry) and Janice Skaggs both of Park City, KY; a half brother James Skaggs, Jr. of Park City; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a brother Lewis Clayton Myers. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, August 5, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
