Earl E. Robertson 82 of Bowling Green and a former Glasgow resident, died Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born at Gravel Switch, KY the son of the late Bert Elmore Robertson and Maudie Lee Jones Robertson. Earl was baptized at the Sycamore Church of Christ in Boyle County and was a minister in the Church of Christ for over 60 years. He began his preaching career in Gamaliel, KY and had preached and been a pastor to churches in Glasgow and Bowling Green as well as Indiana, Alabama, Ohio, West Virginia, many other states and several different countries. Earl was also a farmer and an author and operated a printing and publishing company. He was a member of the West End Church of Christ in Bowling Green. He is survived by his wife Lana McDonald Robertson; 3 daughters Mitzi Short (Clyde) of Glasgow, Annette Poland (Richard) of Tompkinsville and Elaine Lawson (Rodger) of Glasgow; 4 grandchildren Brandon McClendon (Christy) of Phoenix, AZ, Allison Wallace (Britton) of Bowling Green, MacRhae Mendez (Jose`) of Bowling Green and Whitney Jo Turner of Louisville; 3 great-grandchildren Brantley and Avalee Mendez and Hudson Wallace; 1 brother William Harlan Robertson (Laura) of New Albany, IN; 4 sisters Marie Arnold of Perryville, Jenell Oller of Louisville, Joyce Ann Berentz of Lebanon and Maryvene Wheeler of Senora and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother John Thomas Green. Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday, February 20th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Gamaliel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11am Wednesday.
