Ed Geron

Ed Clayborn Geron 71 of Oakland, KY died Sunday, May 7, 2006 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Born in Barren Co., he was the son of the late Leonard & Fannie Cross Geron. Mr. Geron was a farmer and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his companion Anna Watt of Oakland, KY; 4 daughters Joyce Slade (Bill) of Woodburn, Ky, Sandra Gillenwater (Perry) of Glasgow, Kathy Hughes (Jody) and Margie Ford both of Bowling Green, KY; 2 sons Eddie Geron (Cathy) and Jim Geron of Merry Oaks, KY; a step-son Donny Bragg (Amy) of Rocky Hill, KY; 2 sisters Mickie Drew (Charles) and Mildred 'Pete' Gilpin both of Bowling Green; a brother Lewis Geron (Darlene) of Bowling Green; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a step-son Carter Bragg, 3 sisters Opal Justice, Martha Waters and Barbara Jordan and a brother Clifton Geron. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday May 9, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am on Tuesday.
