Eddie Gerald

Eddie Murrell Gerald 92 of Glasgow, died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County on July 18, 1918 the son of the late Eddie C. and Lois Proffitt Gerald. Mr. Gerald was retired from General Motors, a U S veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Corps and member of the South Green Street Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of 72 years Louise London Gerald; 2 sons W.C. (Bill) Gerald wife Lorraine, M. Wayne Gerald wife Barbara; 1 daughter Wanda R. Armstrong husband Bruce all of Michigan; 7 grandchildren Wendy Poynter (Todd), David Gerald both of Michigan, Gayle Rood of Kokomo, IN, Tonya Gray (Wayne) of Florida, Cindy Keller (Greg), Kathy Mulholland (Gregg) both of Michigan, Timothy Armstrong (Patti) of Maine; 2 step grandchildren Michael Reno (Sara) and Michelle Reno both of Michigan; 14 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren; 2 brothers Larry Gerald and Keith Gerald (Margaret) both of Scottsville; several nieces nephews and cousins also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters Eunice Nether and Malinda Porter. Funeral services will be held 1PM Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 4PM until 8PM Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the funeral home.
