Edgar Bruce

Edgar Elwood Bruce, Jr., 57, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Owensboro on March 11, 1962 to the late Edgar Elwood, Sr. and Mary Alice Weatherford Bruce. Edgar attended Pleasant Valley Community Church. He enjoyed fishing and driving semi-trucks. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Ziehr Bruce, granddaughter, Angelica Oliveros, and his sister, Eva Carol Lancaster. Edgar is survived by his daughters, Alicia Rodriguez, Ashley Ziehr, Allyson Ziehr; his sons, Adam Ziehr, Andrew Ziehr, all of Owensboro; his sisters, Edwina Istre, of Owensboro, Marie Stites of Henderson, his brother, Archie Bruce, of Michigan, and several nieces and nephews Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, May 30, 2019 at His Church. Visitation will be 9:00 am until time of service Thursday at the church.
