Edgar Stout

Edgar Lee 'E. L.' Stout 67 of Glasgow died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Marvin E. 'Bob' Stout and Hazel Smith Stout. Mr. Stout was retired from GTE in Glasgow and was a veteran serving in the U. S. Army. He was also a member of the Kosair Shrine, Glasgow Shrine Club, Scottish Rite Valley of Louisville, Allen Masonic Lodge #24, Hiseville Masonic Lodge #787, Order of Eastern Star Edmonton Chapter #470 and Past Master of Edmonton Masonic Lodge #931. Survivors include his wife Joyce Hammer Stout of Glasgow; a son Chris Stout (Cindy) of Versailles, KY; a granddaughter Kacey Noel Stout of Harrodsburg, KY; a great grandson Kaden Allen Hunt of Harrodsburg, KY; 2 brothers Sammy Stout (Brenda) of Portland, TN and Robert Stout (Brenda) of Indianapolis, IN; a sister Nanette Vance (Jimmy) of Bowling Green, KY; an aunt Audrey Matthews of Louisville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. Masonic Services conducted by the Grand Lodge of Kentucky will be 6:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
