Edith Bridges

Edith Louise Bridges 74 of the Merry Oaks community in Barren County, died Friday December 3, 2004 at her home. She was born in Warren County the daughter of the late Tom and Nell Hester Barrick. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cave City Church of God. She is survived by her husband Charles Lethel Bridges; a daughter Dia Nell Burton and husband Bob of Lexington, KY; two grandchildren Michael (Crystal) Richey of Smiths Grove and Toni Michelle Richey of Glasgow; three great grandsons Justin, Aaron and Tommy Richey; four step grandchildren Jennifer (Andy) Moss, Amy Burton, Forrest Burton and Chris Burton; two step great grandchildren Will and Allison Moss and a sister LaVerne Pennycuff and husband Maurice of Smiths Grove. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday December 6, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Merry Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Sunday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the Cemetery Fund at Merry Oaks.
