Edith Centers

Edith O'Jean 'Jean' Centers 78 of Scottsville, KY died Sunday March 2, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late John E. and Etta Pearl Nabors Jackson. Mrs. Centers was retired from Sorensen Manufacturing Co. after 32 years and was a member of the Lucas Homemakers Club. She was also a member of the Dover Baptist Church at Haywood. She is survived by her husband Travis J. Centers; her daughter Donella Taylor and husband William H. of Elizabethtown, KY; 2 granddaughters Diana Martin and husband Stan and Pamela Gibson and husband Coy all of Elizabethtown, KY; 4 great grandchildren Lee Bird, Justin Jenkins, Hunter Martin and Dean Gibson; one brother William Richard Jackson and wife Lucille of Glasgow; a sister-in-law Carole Jackson of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers J. C. and Kenneth Jackson. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday March 5, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm on Tuesday.
