Edith Marie Taylor

Edith Marie Taylor, 97, of Glasgow, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at the Glenview Health & Rehab nursing facility in Glasgow. She was born on January 18, 1924, to the late Roy Mathews and Euna Rigsby Mathews. Edith was a homemaker and member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church at Eighty-Eight, KY. Survivors include two sons, Ralph Taylor, and Danny Taylor; grandchildren, Steve Taylor, Scott Taylor, Stephanie Taylor Ross, Kelly Taylor, Kevin Webb, Amy Taylor, Chris Taylor, Emily Spillman Hayes, Aaron Spillman, Jennifer Taylor Merritt, Justin Taylor, Jessica Taylor Hill, and Holly Taylor England; 26 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; sister, Mable Moran (Billy); brother, Mitchell Mathews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eldon Taylor; one son, Ronnie Taylor; two daughters, Rita Taylor Spillman, and Dana Taylor; and one brother, Leroy Mathews. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday, November 13th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
