Edith Paul

Edith Rae Lucas Paul, age 80 of Hudson passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at her residence. She was born September 19, 1935 in Madrid, KY the daughter of Sidney Jake & Bessie Howard Lucas. She was a loving wife & mother, and a member of the Hudson Community Church since August of 1959. She is survived by four children, Deborah Cavins (Ron) of Radcliff, James Paul (Angela), Vickie Welsh (Bill), & Patty Nieves (Juilo) all of Hudson, one sister, Margie George of Hudson, one brother, James Lucas (Donna) of Hudson, five grandchildren, Thomas Paul, Leslie Nieves, James Paul, Jr, Jesse Paul, & Ashlee Paul, five great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Leslie Paul, Jr., one sister, Cleta Butts, one brother, Bryant Lucas, one son, Timothy Edwin Paul, and a grandson, Jacob Scott Paul. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Sunday (February 21, 2016) at the Hudson Community Church with Bro. Jimmy Tucker & Bro. Ronnie Keesee officiating. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4:00 p.m., Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Sunday at the church.
