Edmond Thomas Eddie Poynter, Jr. 57 of Glasgow died Wednesday at his home. He was the son of the late Edmond Thomas Tommy Poynter and Idelle Thomas Poynter of Glasgow who survives. Eddie was a welder, a machinist and a farmer and was most recently an employee of Madison-Smith in Glasgow. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Bernice; 3 children Brenda Wilson of Shepherdsville, Patty Link of Glasgow and Tammy Groce of Horse Cave; a brother Ricky Poynter (Jeannie) of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Cassie Meadows, Amber Prewitt, Brittany, Gabby and Alex Link and Richard Groce; 5 great grandchildren and a niece and nephew Tasha Caffee and Todd Poynter. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Friday beginning at 11am-9pm and Saturday at the church from 9:30am until time for the service.
