Edna Browning

Edna M. Browning 79 of Glasgow, KY died Monday October 11, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was born in Boyle County on April 16, 1925. Mrs. Browning is survived by 2 sons Jackie Browning and wife Debby of Glasgow, KY and Jimmy Browning of Bowling Green, KY; grandchidren Scott Gordon and wife Fatima, Jerrod Browning and wife Wendy, Justin Browning and wife Ashley all of Glasgow, and Erica Nesbitt and husband Barry of Bowling Green; great grandchildren Shadi Gordon and Mason Nesbitt; 3 sisters Pearl Cocanougher (Jimmy) of Perryville, KY, Cora Elizabeth Matherly of Danville, KY and Edith Shannon (Winslow) of Shelbyville, KY; 1 brother Earl Matherly of Danville, KY; a brother in law Elbert Broyles and a sister in law Katherine Browning. An uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Cinda Matherly, her husband Ed Browning, a daughter Barbara Gordon and a brother Joe Matherly. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 E.S.T. Friday October 15, 2004 at Wilder Funeral Home in Perryville, KY. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00pm til 9:00pm at the Wilder Funeral Home.
