Edna Tobin

Edna Mae Williams Tobin 89 of Glasgow died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late Minnis and Emma Piper Williams. Mrs. Tobin was a 1946 graduate of Hiseville High School and was employed as a nurse aide at T. J. Samson Community Hospital and Howard Clinic. She was a member of the former First General Baptist Church of Glasgow and attended Greater Vision Baptist Church. She is survived by 3 sons Donald (Kaye) Tobin of Glasgow, David (Angie) Tobin of Glasgow and Dennis (Teresa) Tobin of Edmonton; 2 step grandchildren Jill Shipp and Latisha Milby; 2 step great grandchildren Dagyn Milby and Bentley Forman and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Lee Tobin, 2 grandchildren Jeffery David Tobin and Donna Kaye Tobin and her brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin Saturday at 4:00pm.
